Serene Studio is a fine jewelry line designed and handcrafted in New York by Tomomi Osakada.

Rooted in quiet beauty and subtle detail, each piece is created to be worn every day and to live gently with you over time.

Not to stand out for attention, but to quietly become part of you—something you wear every day, something that holds memory, something that feels right without needing explanation.

Light, movement, and small shifts in nature serve as constant sources of inspiration. The softness of reflection, the rhythm of water, and moments that often go unnoticed are translated into form through a balance of organic shapes and clean, refined lines.

Each piece is handcrafted in small batches using solid gold, responsibly sourced gemstones, and recycled precious metals whenever possible. The focus is on longevity, thoughtful making, and pieces that can be worn for years as part of your everyday life.

About the Designer

Tomomi Osakada is a Japanese-born jeweler based in New York.

She began her jewelry journey in 2010 in Japan, working in a small shop where she customized everyday pieces by hand. That early experience shaped her approach to jewelry as something intimate and personal, rooted in small details and careful craftsmanship.

After moving to New York in 2012, she continued developing her skills between New York and Japan. In 2017, she joined Catbird as a bench jeweler, where she refined her technical foundation in fine jewelry and deepened her understanding of materials and construction.

Over time, her work has evolved into fine jewelry, shaped by a growing focus on lasting materials and thoughtful construction.

Growing up in Kobe, Japan, she developed a sensitivity to quiet moments in nature, from the shimmer of the ocean seen from a train window to the softness of changing light. These early impressions continue to shape her work today.

Making was also a natural part of her childhood. Her mother created small details around the home, from handmade clothing to carefully knitted pieces, while her father built and fixed things with his hands. As a child, she was drawn to collecting small glass beads, long before understanding their purpose. That quiet fascination with small objects became an early connection to the materials she works with today.

Her jewelry reflects a balance of organic form and refined simplicity, designed to accompany the wearer in a way that feels personal, lasting, and quietly meaningful.
